From May 4th to May 31st 2019, I will be operating a special event station - GB9SOS (Golf Bravo Nine Sierra Oscar Sierra). The station is being operated as part of SOS Radio Week.

What is SOS Radio Week?

SOS Radio Week is one month of fun, non-competitive, operating, an opportunity for amateur radio to celebrate the work of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and to raise much needed funds for them. The RNLI is funded 100% by voluntary donations so SOS Radio Week is arranged to coincide with their major fund-raising event, Mayday.

Where and When?

I will be operating on as many different HF and VHF bands as I can during the 28 days the station will be operating - exact frequencies will be published soon. The station will be operating from 19:00 to 21:00 UTC on weekdays and 09:00 to 16:00 UTC at weekends.
