GB1NHS is the National Health Service Amateur Radio Station. The station was founded by Paul Devlin G1SMP from NHS Improvement's Emergency Care Intensive Support Team (ECIST). The station was licensed by Ofcom on 5th April 2018.

Amateur radio has never had a greater opportunity to improve the lives of millions of people by becoming part of the NHS and promoting the work of NHS Improvement, and I am honoured that Paul has invited me to be involved with GB1NHS.
